LVA-PW Welcomes New Volunteer Tutors! The last Tutor Training Workshop, which was held in March of this year was attended by 13 new volunteer tutors. LVA-PW welcomes and congratulates the following volunteers for giving of their time to share the gift of reading. Change a Life and become a Tutor.

Would you like to become a volunteer literacy tutor and help an adult in Prince William County learn to read? Then sign up for the next Tutor Training Workshop (TTWS)!

We are a non-profit serving the Woodbridge area of Prince William county. We offer free tutoring to adults who seek to improve their literacy skills. If you would like to become a volunteer literacy tutor, you must attend both training sessions of a TTWS to become a certified literacy tutor with us.

Car Wash Fundraiser!

Saturday, May 9, a total of 43 volunteers came to wash cars to raise funds for LVA-PW in support of adult literacy in our community. We raised $825.00! What a success! Thank you to all of the dedicated and hard working volunteers who spent their Saturday afternoon for a worthy cause! We could not have been so successful in this fundraiser without you.

Inkjet Cartidges

Don't throw away your printer inkjet cartridges. Donate them to us. We will recycle them and receive discounts on our office supplies. Your help is appreciated!
